Reclaiming Legacies is solely run by Yehuda Rubin; all references to “I” and “we” refer therein. Yehuda is an experienced Ashkenazi Jewish genealogist with ten years of research experience. He actively researches and posts findings on Geni.com, participates in discussions on JewishGen and other genealogy forums, and attends collaborative events to further research.

Yehuda has used vital and general records in English, Hebrew, Yiddish, German, Polish, Russian and other languages. He is skilled in reading difficult handwritings, familiar with archival methodology, and easily navigates catalogs and finding aids to find relevant information and sources.

We have a broad, yet detailed focus on many countries, including but not limited to Austria, Hungary, Poland, and Romania. Examples of previous work and written material is available upon request.
